About Annette

Annette has been teaching dance in the Madison area for over ten years.  She has a liberal arts degree in dance and has performed with Push Factor Dance Company located in NYC and Stillpoint Dance Company located in Boston.  Annette's teaching experience has covered a wide range of ages and a multitude of styles.

Her choreography has received numerous awards and accreditations.  For many years Annette has choreographed for Daniel Hand and Branford High School's musicals, the DHHS show choir and the Haddam-Killingworth cheerleaders. Annette currently teaches all classes that are offered at Downtown Dance Center. She is excited to start her fifth season and welcomes all new and current students to join the 2012 - 2013 dance season!

Our Studio

Downtown Dance Center was established in 2008.  During the course of the dance season students will learn technique, terminology and other fundamentals of dance.  Students will also learn aspects of choreography such as visual effects and formation changes.  Downtown Dance Center does not require any specific dress code, students may wear what is comfortable to them, however, jeans or other restrictive clothing are prohibited.  The dance season ends with a Spring Performance held at Morgan High School.  Downtown Dance Center also offers multiple summer workshops and camps for students ages 4-adult
